They are fashionable due to their multiple properties. I tell you everything you need to know about them to exploit their benefits
An essential oil is a highly concentrated aromatic liquid that is extracted from leaves, flowers, wood, roots or seeds. Many people believe that essential oils only serve to make our house smell good, but they are really very useful in a large number of everyday situations.
Here are some uses and their benefits:
To sleep better: combine 3 drops of lavender essential oil with 3 drops of orange essential oil near the head of your bed, it helps to fall asleep. If you’re cold or congested, add 3 drops of eucalyptus essential oil to breathe easier.
To increase concentration: use 3 drops of lemon or rosemary essential oil in an aroma diffuser or in a cheesecloth near where you are.
For insect bites: impregnate a cotton ball with a drop of tea tree essential oil and apply it directly (you should know that the vast majority of essential oils cannot be applied directly to the skin, always apply them following the instructions).
To enjoy a toning bath: add essential oils such as rosemary or mint to enrich bathwater.
To soothe irritated skin after the sun: add 40 drops of lavender essential oil to the post-shower oil or cream. Apply this mixture on wet skin and pat dry gently with a towel.
To improve occasional acne: apply a drop of tea tree essential oil to the granite before bed. Helps lower inflammation.
To prevent fungal infections in gyms, swimming pools and showers: massage your feet well with a mixture of 10 ml of sweet almond oil with 10 drops of tea tree essential oil.
For aromatherapy: The use of essences extracted from plants, flowers or spices used for our well-being is an ancient practice that we continue to put into practice today through aromatherapy. The effects of aromatherapy are said to be rapid and long-lasting because the part of the brain associated with odors is the same as that of memory.
It is a good idea to make yourself an aroma diffuser or an essence burner. There is a wide variety of diffusers for essential oils, some also work as humidifiers.
